We Finally Took Our Own Advice: Meet Our New Website

Our new website is officially live! And we have a small confession to make: for a long time, it was the one project we never seemed to get to.
Since 2020, we’ve spent our days building brands, websites, events and campaigns for the nonprofits, cities, agencies and local businesses we love. Our own website? It kept getting bumped to “next month.” Client launches came first. Auctions came first. Grant deadlines came first. And, of course, our kids came first. That’s kind of the whole point of Kesh.
This fall, we finally did something a little out of character. We blocked off time on our own calendars, treated ourselves like a client and gave our own site the same care we give everyone else’s. Here’s how it came together.
Why we finally made time for ourselves
Our old site did its job, but it no longer told the whole story. We’ve grown. We’ve added services, welcomed new team members and become a Washington State master contractor for branding. The people visiting our site deserved to find all of that quickly, on any device, without hunting for it.
We also talk with clients every week about how much their website matters. It’s often the first place a donor, resident or customer meets you. It was time to practice what we preach.
Same heart, fresh look
The biggest goal of this website refresh was simple: don’t lose who we are. Kesh was built by two friends and two moms who believe a healthy work-life balance is possible, and that great work and a full life can grow together. That story stayed front and center.
You’ll still find our green leaves, our family-first values and plenty of personality. You can even meet the real CEOs, our kids, on our Our Family page. We just gave it all a cleaner, warmer home.
How much thought went into our new website
A website refresh is a lot more than new colors. Here’s what we focused on behind the scenes:
- Clear paths for every visitor. Whether you’re a nonprofit planning a fundraiser, a city team launching outreach or a business owner who needs a brand, you can find your way in a click or two.
- A page for every service. Each of our seven services now has its own page with what’s included, how we work and answers to the questions we hear most.
- Built for phones first. Most people will meet us on their phone, so every page was tested and tuned for small screens.
- Fast and secure. Lighter images, smart caching, spam protection on our forms and security updates baked in.
- Easy to read for everyone. We checked color contrast, headings and labels so the site works well for people using assistive technology, following the WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Found on Google. Every page has its own title, description and behind-the-scenes details that help search engines understand who we are and where we serve.
- Real words from real clients. We’re so grateful to the partners who shared their experiences with us.
We optimized everything we could and kept the voice and story that make us who we are.

We build new websites and refresh existing ones for nonprofits, cities and local businesses across the South Sound and Washington State, and we offer monthly care plans so your site stays fast, secure and up to date after launch.
